Your first Zombie Barrage run does not have to depend on a large coin balance. The current game offers a seven-day reward sequence, temporary weapon pickups during battle, and a permanent Armory for purchases between runs. Understanding which reward is permanent and which gun lasts only a few seconds helps you make a better plan. This guide follows the current GameTopX build and explains what to do if you press Play before claiming your first gift.

Day 1: claim 300 coins, even after an early defeat

The first daily reward is 300 coins. You can claim it from the daily reward panel before playing. If you press Play and skip the gift, your first loss is not the end of the opportunity: the Mission Failed screen offers a 300-coin rescue button that claims Day 1 and opens the Armory. Claiming is saved with your game progress, so the same reward should not be paid twice.

The 300 coins match the price of Weapon 02, the Stinger Rifle. In the Armory, check the weapon card and decide whether to buy it for your next run. The rescue button sends you to the shop; it does not silently purchase a gun for you. If you prefer, you can keep the coins and save for another upgrade.

Try the first-run reward

What the rest of the first week gives you

Day 2 permanently unlocks Weapon 05, the three-barrel Trident Shotgun. Day 3 grants 500 coins; Day 4 grants 800; Day 5 grants 1,500; and Day 6 grants 2,000. Day 7 permanently unlocks Weapon 07, the four-barrel Quadra Cannon. The two weapon rewards are unlocks, while the coin rewards add to your balance.

A new reward is available on a later local calendar day and after the game’s minimum interval between claims. Opening the page repeatedly on the same day will not move the calendar forward. Check the reward panel when you return, rather than assuming that the next gift appears exactly at midnight or immediately after a run.

Temporary pickups are a different kind of power

During a run, a weapon pickup can briefly switch your firepower to a multi-barrel gun. Its effect lasts 10 seconds. It does not replace the weapon you bought and saved in the Armory. The first boss approach is designed to provide a three-barrel pickup, while later pickups can vary. When a pickup appears, use the short window to clear enemies already close to the barricade or to put concentrated damage into a boss.

Do not plan a permanent loadout around a temporary drop. After the timer ends, your purchased weapon remains the reliable baseline. If you are comparing two runs, separate the result of a lucky pickup from the effect of an Armory purchase.

A simple plan for your next three visits

On the first visit, claim Day 1, inspect the Stinger Rifle, and play until you know which enemies reach the barricade fastest. On the second visit, claim the Trident unlock and try it in a fresh run. On the third, add the 500 coins to the upgrade budget and choose a purchase that addresses the way you lost last time.

Your saved progress lives in the browser and can also use GameTopX account sync when you are signed in. Even with stronger equipment, target selection still matters: remove immediate threats near the wall, then return to the boss. The daily system gives you a reason to come back; better decisions are what turn those rewards into longer runs.
